The GlideSkin version of the A3 offers increased comfort and range of movement, for BASE jumpers who are less focused on performance and more focused on rapid toggle access in low deployment scenarios.

The A3GS is optimized for objects with low-overall vertical. Moab would be a prime example, where the total vertical from exit to landing is frequently less than 1,600 feet (500m). In these situations, rapid riser/toggle access becomes a much higher priority than at a typical Alpine BASE jump. The high flexibility of the A3GS leading edge allows an easier "punch-out" and reach up to higher on the risers.

This option is only recommended for WS BASE jumpers who jump low-overall-height objects typical in the US Southwest.
