DYNEEMA WEBBING
Our blended Dyneema webbing is a traditional width (similar to type-8) but is significantly stronger and lighter than type-8. It is tested to a 7000 lb (31 kN) breaking strength. The white face is Dyneema, woven together with Polyester (black) for structure and durability.
SMART HARNESS CONSTRUCTION
>22kN resistance at any conceivable angle during deployment, CAD designed CNC bartacks chosen specifically for each segment of the harness, in accordance with the applicable force and direction, and CWH stainless hardware for the 3-Ring assembly.
INTEGRATED RAPPEL LOOPS
Rappel loops are integrated into the harness at the hip area. Use your own slings or add the SQRL designed rap slings to your order.
DYNAMIC CORNERS / BOC
We've redesigned the dynamic corners for a more thorough closure. The CRUX 2 3R opens into a perfectly flat tray once the pins are released and the bottom corners close easily. The length of the container is medium-long, for easy BOC access and comfort during wingsuit & tracking use.
LOW PIN-LOCK TENDENCY
The side flap orientation and pin cover flap design of the CRUX 2 3R prevent known issues with opposite-oriented container closures. The pin flap gives solid relative wind protection while still allowing pin release during head-high deployments or other acute bridle angle scenarios.
CUSTOM PLATE BUCKLES
Lightweight custom aluminum frame buckles can be attached or released without passing your leg through the loop, or simply left connected forever -- your choice.
CHEST STRAP BUCKLES
The new 30mm chest strap hardware cinches, adjusts, and releases smoothly.
PRETTY STRONG RISERS
The C3R risers have been load tested to >20kN, which exceeds industry norms.
GRAB A STIFFIE
The standard C3R brake toggles are big, stiff, and a pleasure to grab. We know you wouldn’t have it any other way.
BRIDLE KEEPER
Updated with a new magnetic bridle keeper for hand-held exits.
HOOK KNIFE
Every CRUX 2 3R ships with a double bladed aluminum body hook knife, and removable sheath.
GEOMETRY LESSONS
If you would like to learn more about the different types of harness geometry that are being advertised today, then please contact us for a complete history on cross-bracing (from its arrival on the paragliding scene in the 1990s to present), and a detailed education on the true causes of, and real cures for, line twists and body twists, both in BASE and Wingsuit BASE. We will be happy to discuss harnesses and technique in great depth with you.
