STREAM
FOR HIGH SPEED WINGSUIT FLIGHT

The STREAM is the next generation of harness-container design and is the ultimate option for wingsuit BASE jumpers. This low-profile and aerodynamic system contains everything that you need, and nothing you don’t. Our mission for the STREAM was centered on improving aerodynamics, pin protection, overall strength, ease of use, weight, and comfort. The STREAM has no options – everything is included in the price, so there is nothing to add.

DETAILS

UNMATCHED WINDPROOFING AND PIN PROTECTION

The STREAM’s central pin cover flap provides solid protection and a smooth aerodynamic surface. The central cover is extra-wide and well-reinforced with generous overlap at all tucking sections. Over the past year the STREAM design has been proven at the highest airspeeds our team is flying at today, from head-down wingsuit flying in the FREAK to the steepest and most technical proximity lines in the AURA series.

LOW PIN-LOCK TENDENCY

Developing a system that protects pins from airflow is easy, but doing so while still allowing immediate release during a head-high or otherwise unstable deployment is more difficult. This requirement was part of the STREAM’s design from the beginning, and we think you will agree that the balance between coverage and forgiveness in situations of acute bridle angles is excellent.

DYNEEMA WEBBING

Our blended Dyneema webbing is a traditional width (similar to type-8) but is significantly stronger and lighter than type-8. It is tested to a 7000lb (31kN) breaking strength. The white face is Dyneema, woven together with Polyester (black) for structure and durability.

SMART HARNESS

The STREAM harness geometry offers an integrated riser design with a smooth and low profile MLW / Diagonal junction. This allows a low-profile and comfortable fit at the shoulder area, and >22kN resistance at any conceivable angle during deployment. The “bridge” reinforcement joining the rear diagonal / MLW / riser junction prevents peeling load and is a clean and simple solution to the known issues that affect previous integrated riser designs.

SMART CONSTRUCTION

Traditional construction techniques work, but some modern construction techniques work better. By better, we mean stronger and more precise. Programmed bartacks offer a high level of precision and consistency from harness to harness. The STREAM patterns are chosen specifically for each segment of the harness, in accordance with the applicable force and its direction.

THERMOFORMED BACKPAD

This doesn’t serve a highly technical purpose, but we think it’s a nice detail. Thermoformed closed-cell foam is laminated in a 4-way stretch coating for comfort and durability. This backpad is not certified or designed to provide spine protection, it serves only an aesthetic and comfort function.

CUSTOM PLATE BUCKLES

The leg straps are secured with aluminum frame buckles, which can be attached and released without passing your leg through the loop. This is a useful option for gearing up on precarious exit points, or while on rappel. If you prefer to pass your legs through closed loops, this is also possible – just leave the buckles mated together.

DYNAMIC CORNERS / BOC

The STREAM opens into a perfectly flat tray once the pins are released, but the bottom corners close easily and fully secure your packjob. No bridle is exposed to airflow, as the pin-to-slide flap route is covered by the bottom of the central pin cover flap. Please note that the STREAM is designed for head-forward flight, not sit or stand flying. The overall length of the container places the BOC low on your back, making access more comfortable for wingsuit and tracking.

NBS SYSTEM

The NBS (No BS) system is an important development in modern harness design. If you would like to learn more about the different types of harness geometry that are being advertised today, then please contact us for a complete history on cross-bracing (from its arrival on the paragliding scene in the 1990s to present), and a detailed education on the true causes of, and real cures for, line twists and body twists, both in BASE and Wingsuit BASE. We will be happy to discuss harnesses and technique in great depth with you.
