A radical new low-drag inlet design combined with profile and monochamber design refinements make the Freak 6 a significant step up in performance and handling.

FEATURES
GEN 2 MONOCHAMBER DESIGN
A new leg wing top has been engineered to increase airflow between chambers, making the dragless inlet possible and improving overall handling. All sections of all wings are fed by any and all of the eight inlets on the top and bottom surfaces.
NEW DRAGLESS INLETS
Our drag-reduction quest had a breakthrough in the development of this suit. The arm wing inlets on the Freak 6 are NACA-inspired, and if you look closely you'll recognize a flipped & inverted SQRL inlet. This is a large drag reduction, as 4 inlets have now been deleted from the suit. Imagine driving 100mph and putting three fingers perpendicular to the wind -- now multiply that drag force by 4x, and you'll understand the improvement here.
VALVED LEG INLETS
Like its predecessor, the FR6 leg wing has valved traditional inlets to maintain pressure in the suit. Will the whole suit be dragless one day? We're doing our best...
GEN2 SYMBLEND PROFILE
We've improved the profile for better belly performance, more flare, and lower stall speed (think XRW). It remains stable and comfortable at all angles from XRW to Head Down.
CARBON FIBER GAS PEDALS
First used in our race suits, this optional carbon fiber insert increases lengthwise tension in the suit. Insert the plates for more power and precision. Now with improved pocket closure.
NEW CARBON PLATE GRIPPER
Our team pilots who flew the CR+ kept telling us that they loved the little carbon plate we added to its gripper, so we decided to try it on the Freak as well. It adds a little something to the handling of the suit. The carbon rod and gripper foam are otherwise unchanged from previous models.*
NEW SEAMLESS LEADING EDGE*
Our proprietary leading edge Glide Skin now wraps more of the forward wing chord for reduced drag at a critical area of the wing.
RAD
Clean Pulls: A carefully designed forearm segment allows better access to your PC at pull time and risers during opening. BOC access and early riser control aid the deployment process.
CUSTOM INTERNAL PRESSURE
The airtight zippers in our suits allow you to choose the amount of internal pressure in the arm wings. We recommend fully zipped / closed, but if you like a more flaccid feeling, feel free to unzip a bit.
NEW AIRFOIL CROSS SECTION
In 2024 we upgraded the foam density. Designed for Performance or Freestyle, the removable airfoil cross section adds glide and speed performance and increases agility and range in any suit that it is added to. More information on leading edge foam.

QUICK-ZIP ATTACHMENT
The Quick-Zip system is durable and easy to use, making suit-rigging fast simple. The adjustable lateral slot accommodates a range of harness types and sizes.
EVOLV TRAX RUBBER BASE SOLE
The new TRAX Super Sticky BASE Sole has been developed in cooperation with Evolv, a leading climbing shoe manufacturer. The tread pattern is designed specifically for exit force traction, and the rubber is sticky in all conditions: wet, dry, warm, and cold.
MAGSNAPS
New magnet snaps require no pressing action to attach and securely lock together until they are intentionally lifted upwards to separate. Sometimes it's the little things...

MATERIALS
MAIN SURFACES
Our main surface fabric is a 210D Rip-stop, with low stretch and an ideal rigidity-to-comfort ratio. Its balance of weight / durability, along with mechanical stability and tear strength, makes it the perfect mid-weight material for wingsuits.
LEADING EDGE MATERIAL
GlideSkin is an aerodynamic and wrinkle-resistant material that features a fine grain that is aligned with the relative wind.
INTERNAL RIBS
The Freak 5 rib material varies across the span. Lightweight sail cloth ribs support the thicker section of the profile, with mesh used in thinner areas where crossports are less ideal.
ZIPPERS
SQRL wingsuits are constructed with the strongest and highest quality zippers available. Locking YKK 10C zips are used on the main body, harness-interface, and arm sections of every suit we make.

Super smooth, seamless transition to be honest and didn’t even notice I was in a different suit until flare time.
