Squirrel Pilots Win in Italy
Congrats, again, to our friend Alexey Galda who has taken first overall at yet another major comp. Alexey’s latest win is at Ravenna, site of one of the largest annual performance cups. Chris Geiler took two penalties of 10% each and still managed a silver medal, a highly impressive result. Congrats also to Marco Pistolesi, who became Italian national champion flying his CR+, and Alessandro Urzi, who took silver. Seven out of the top ten pilots flew Squirrel. Full results.
In Alexey’s words:
“It has become a tradition for the world's best performance pilots to come to Ravenna, Italy, every year to compete in the open Italian national performance competition. This years's event was attended by 38 pilots from 12 countries, with a very strong field in the advanced category. The event was a double-success story for Marco Pistolesi, who not only organized a great competition, but also became the new Italian champion flying his CR+”.
Congrats to everyone, and thanks to all of the pilots who have continued to support us on our quest for performance and fun in the sky. Cheers, from all the Team at Squirrel.
