EVOLV TRAX RUBBER BASE SOLE
The new TRAX Super Sticky BASE Sole has been developed in cooperation with Evolv, a leading climbing shoe manufacturer. The tread pattern is designed specifically for exit force traction, and the rubber is sticky in all conditions: wet, dry, warm, and cold. This mold is the only custom wingsuit sole ever created and is the highest performance option available.
MASSIVE LEG WING POCKET
The new leg wing pocket is the full width of the end cell, has zip closure, and is ideal for the stowage of hiking poles, ropes, and other equipment.
AIRTIGHT CONSTRUCTION
All of our suits are built to the most exacting specifications, and tested for airtight symmetry in our production facility at multiple points along the construction process.

Our sturdy double-blade hook knife fits into a secure pocket on the front of the leg. It's light, strong, and easy to grab.
MAGSNAPS

DETAILS
The AURA series is designed for the most experienced WS BASE jumpers. Big mountain lines demand a big mountain suit, and the A4 provides a maximum of glide, speed, and power for steep lines, distant landing zones, and rapid separation from terrain.
The A4 draws on extensive feedback from our team pilots, friends, and customers. Our focus in development was to improve the comfort & ease of use, especially in making the start-arc more accessible.
A new leading edge design and two degrees less arm sweep have resulted in a significantly more comfortable overall design with improved glide performance and similar top speed.
The genetics of the A4 are still based on our performance suits. This is not a CORVID, and it's not a C4. While it is more accessible than the A3, it is still designed specifically for the most experienced WS BASE jumpers.
The A4 excels in big, steep, alpine lines. With an even further optimized center of pressure, it is incredibly stable at steeper glide angles.
If you are seeking the ultimate in WS BASE performance, look no further... and get excited about the fact that every facet of the A3's performance and character has been improved upon, from the start arc to the flare and pull.
DESIGN NOTES
The AURA series mission is short start arcs combined with stability at steep glide angles and a high top speed. The A4 again features a "traditional" leg wing design which prevents unwanted diving at exit. The tuned arm sweep has made short starts easier, and the optimized CoP makes it the easiest and most comfortable big suit in steep alpine-style lines of flight.
THE PILOT
Experienced wingsuit flyers with several seasons of experience will adapt to the AURA series quickly. A3 pilots will appreciate easier starts and a less physical feel overall, with improved flare.
SKYDIVING
The A4 is designed for BASE jumping. We always recommend skydiving it to train for BASE. Please note that if your main focus is skydiving with only a couple of short BASE trips during the year, then we recommend a smaller surface area model for your primary suit, such as the FREAK series.
MATERIALS
MAIN SURFACES
Our main surface fabric is a 210D Rip-stop, with low stretch and an ideal rigidity-to-comfort ratio. Its balance of weight / durability, along with mechanical stability and tear strength, makes it the perfect mid-weight material for wingsuits.
LEADING EDGE MATERIALS
We offer two choices for wing surface Mylar reinforcement:
- 1. Porcher Sport (white). Comes standard.
- 2. Full GlideSkin. Increases glide performance and is more wrinkle-resistant. This option is recommended.
INTERNAL RIBS
All ribs are constructed from lightweight sail cloth, chosen for its ideal stability-to-weight ratio.
ZIPPERS
SQRL wingsuits are constructed with the strongest and highest quality zippers available. Locking YKK 10C zips are used on the main body, harness-interface, and arm sections of every suit we make.

"Hi guys,
I have been jumping the A4. I can see that the stall speed is lower and the max glide is better than the Corvid (and at this point appears better than the A3). It loves being steep with no drama, awesome flat turning and soaring capability, sticks to the terrain like water. Balance in the start is not quite as easy as the Corvid but it’s pretty close. Starts faster than 200 meters every time.
Basically I am getting almost unrealistically great performance out of the thing, both better slow speed capability and higher L/D. I stepped on the scale when I got home and I am 10-15 lbs lighter than last season, so that is a factor. I will have a better Idea with more data, but this is probably the best base jumping setup I have ever used."
